Brazos Marketplace specializes in the use of Captive structures to finance risks.  

Brazos was initially established to build an exclusive health plan Captive for a national aggregator to market through their members.  Working with an established Captive utility and best in class plan service providers, that cell was successfully launched in 2021. 

While we can work with any insurable risk, our primary focus is health plans. 

Brazos is a true Captive advisory firm not just a marketer of an existing Captive.  We analyze data and assess needs to determine the best Captive solution for the risk profile and culture of the entity. 

Brazos has the experience, knowledge, and resources to guide clients to existing cells or help entities establish proprietary cells.  

Brazos can help any entity take control and lower the cost of their health plan.  Our Captive solutions provide a viable alternative to the limited options in fully insured markets, while mitigating the risk and volatility inherent in self-funded plans. 

Brazos is dedicated to educating our clients on the opportunities and obstacles to captive plans.  Our plans are not implemented until our clients are fully informed and comfortable with the program.
